What's it about?

The Musikverein Ohlsdorf was founded in 1861 and has developed into a successful and versatile ensemble. Currently, the orchestra includes 70 active musicians aged between 15 and 75 years, thus bridging generations. Great emphasis is placed on youth work and its own youth orchestra. The band accompanies various outings, framing church, cultural, and private events of all kinds. Under the musical direction of conductor Theresa Schobesberger, the broad musical repertoire ranges from traditional march music to modern literature (musical and rock arrangements), appealing to people of all ages. In case of bad weather, the concert will be held at the Stadttheater Greif. The concerts take place in any weather.
