What's it about?
Despite the extreme drought, it was possible to keep the cattle on the alm. At 10:00 AM, the cattle drive from the Brettmaisalm, which is next to the Grünburger Hütte, begins. At the same time, the supporting program starts at the Oberbichler family in Dorngraben. The Nussbach Music Association and the Steirer Kanonen provide musical entertainment. The Prangerschützen Molln will announce the arrival of the alpine cattle with their traditional rifles. The Landjugend Micheldorf will take care of food and drinks. The program is rounded off by a farmers' market, a special children's program with a large children's tombola, and great wood and blacksmith art. The highlight of the event is the arrival of the festively decorated alpine cattle, led by the alpine staff, expected from 11:15 AM.
