
Day butterflies and their habitats in Kalkalpen National Park Over 1,600 butterfly species flutter in Kalkalpen National Park; nowhere else in Austria have more species been recorded. Day butterflies love the flower-rich habitats and the bright, natural forests. If few day butterflies are visible in damp, cold weather, we will focus more on their habitat requirements and nectar plants during the tour.Requirements: Guided tours on fixed dates are reserved for private individuals.
