Foto Film Festl

What's it about?

After several years' break, the Gebirgsradverein Windischgarsten is bringing back the popular Foto Film Festl to the Kulturhaus Römerfeld on Saturday, November 28, 2026. The audience can expect a varied program of visually striking travel, sports, and life stories: Herbert Mayr recounts the spectacular mountain unicycle World Championship at Wurbauerkogel, while the mountain bikers of the men's group tackle three- and four-thousand-meter peaks in the Western Alps through challenging bike & hike climbs. Björn Hunger documents his extraordinary inline skating tour through Iceland's rugged nature, while two touching portraits round off the evening – the moving story of Walter Seebacher, who is back on his bike despite a spinal cord injury, and a short film by Marlies and Andi Lattner-Czerny about 94-year-old alpinist pioneer Maria Kittl.
