Stummermühle - From Grain to Flour with Water Power

What's it about?

It is located in Roßleithen above the sickle factory on the romantic path to the Pießling spring. The mill was carefully restored in 1997 with great effort and is open to visitors at certain times. Travel information: Private: A9 - Exit Roßleithen, then B138 about 300 m towards Windischgarsten, turn right towards Roßleithen, about 5 km. Public: Take the Riedler bus (line 431) to the Roßleithen Ort stop - walking time approx. 20 minutes. Opening hours: June to the end of September every Monday from 10 am to 12 pm. No registration required. Guided tours at other times for groups of 10 or more by arrangement and for a fee. Note: After visiting the mill, you can continue to the impressive natural spectacle of the Pießling spring (about 20 minutes walk). It is the largest karst spring in Upper Austria – an entire stream emerges from a vertical rock face. Opening hours: June to the end of September every Monday from 10 am to 12 pm.
