Bibelgesprächsrunde

What's it about?

Understanding the Bible better - Discover the historical background. The Bible is a fascinating book, but the books of the Old and New Testaments come from a completely different culture and different times. To better understand God's word, it helps to know the historical context. In our open Bible discussion group, we delve into this exciting world. We take a look at the lives of people in ancient Israel and the early church. How did they think? What political and social challenges shaped their time? Against this background, the old stories gain new significance for our present time. Whether you have been reading the Bible for a long time or are new to it: you are warmly invited! Bring your questions and thoughts. Leader: Mag. Theol / Mag. Wolfgang Hingerl / Dr. Harald Obermayr. Every first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM in the club room above the parish library.
