Children's program, guided tour and live forging demonstration at the Steyr City Museum On Sunday, September 27, 2026, the Austria-wide Heritage Day, under the motto "Monuments: Value for all.", invites you to rediscover historical places. The Steyr City Museum opens its doors with free admission and offers exciting insights into history, craftsmanship, and monument preservation. From 10 AM to 12:30 PM, traditional craftsmanship comes alive in the historic forge with a live forging demonstration. At the Kids' Meet "From Ore Stone to Iron Tip", children and their adult companions can playfully learn interesting facts about iron processing and the importance of metal for the region, starting at 10:15 AM. At 11 AM, a guided tour of the Innerberger Stadel begins, focusing on the history of the house and the renovation of the building.
