Musician gatherings are enlivening the folk music scene in Strudengau! STRUDENGAU. The Upper Austrian Volksliedwerk (folk song association) invites musicians to a gathering titled "Wocha teil'n" starting at the end of May, every last Wednesday of the month, from 6 PM, at a Strudengau inn. Folk music is experiencing a resurgence in Strudengau: In recent years, numerous new ensembles have formed, including "Schallhammonie" and "Heibodnmusi" from Bad Kreuzen, "WoidHoizMusi" and "Für Sie" from Waldhausen, and the versatile ensemble "Ållerhand" from Grein. The Upper Austrian Volksliedwerk is now creating regular performance opportunities for folk music groups with the new "Wocha teil'n" program.
