Elves are — as the story goes — invisible house spirits that do helpful things when the homeowners sleep. The elves that Karin Winter sews in this workshop with the participants, however, are anything but invisible. They are also useful during the day and keep doors open as heavy doorstops that should not close. Old jeans fabric, lace, buttons, etc. are used. No sewing skills are required. What matters is the joy of making it yourself! After all, you can take the result of the workshop work home and use it yourself or give it as a gift. Bring an old pair of jeans, lace trim, and two kilos of rice for filling. About the workshop leader: Made by Karin — this is the label that the office worker has come up with for her hobby. With great care and many years of experience at the sewing machine, Karin gets to work. Old jeans, which are 'retired' by friends and acquaintances or purchased at flea markets, end up in her workshop. Among other things, beautiful bags are created from these, which are also available at the Winter Exhibition at the mük.
