Eva Reisinger grew up in the Upper Austrian province, between tent festivals and vodka shots. Starting in 2017, she developed an Austria-focused section for the young media outlet ZEIT and reported as a correspondent from the neighboring country. Her first book, "Was geht, Österreich?" was published in 2021 by Kiepenheuer & Witsch. Her bestseller "Männer töten" (Leykam 2023) was nominated for the Austrian Book Prize debut.
