Exhibition duration: October 3 to October 25, 2026 Opening: October 1, 2026 at 7:00 PM Opening reception on October 1, 2026 at 7:00 PM The group exhibition brings together three Austrian artists with distinctive visual languages: Erich Traxler, John Wieser, and Anton Thurnberger. Through the interplay of their works, a multifaceted dialogue about seeing, perception, and artistic expression unfolds. The Brauhausgalerie Freistadt offers a special ambiance with approximately 350 square meters of exhibition space, providing room for the different artistic positions and showcasing their exciting interaction. Erich Traxler: At the center of my artistic work is the experimental exploration of materials and processes. I am particularly fascinated by the blow-molding technique, which I continuously develop and use in various performative and installation contexts. John Wieser: The act, this almost inexhaustible motif, has already been tackled by so many artists and photographers that John Wieser’s greatest challenge was to create something special. Anton Thurnberger: Nature is the foundation of my artistic work. I am fascinated by its hidden structures, its transience, and its quiet beauty. With my works, I want to make these often overlooked qualities visible and draw attention to the close connection between humans and nature.
