He initially wrote songs for artists such as Mina, Ornella Vanoni and Adriano Celentano, before starting a solo career as a singer-songwriter in the 1990s. With subtle humor and poetic depth, he succeeds in capturing everyday experiences and cultural peculiarities in his lyrics.Giorgio Conte's music combines elements of chanson, swing and folk with a pinch of jazz.
