After Austria's "Anschluss" to Nazi Germany in March 1938, Czechoslovakia intensified its espionage activities on Austrian soil to gather information about military installations as well as the strength, composition, and movements of German troops.The exhibition illuminates this espionage network with its headquarters in Brno, the "mastermind" Dr. Jeřábek, the outpost in Znaim, as well as its functioning and methods.The dismantling of the network by the Gestapo is also addressed. The focus is on the people from Austria and Czechoslovakia who, despite the high personal risk, spied against the National Socialist regime.Exhibition duration: February 27 - August 16, 2026Opening hours: Wednesday-Friday from 9 am-12 pm and 2 pm-5 pm Sat, Sun, public holidays 2 pm-5 pm
