What's it about?
re:IMAGINE - The Music of John Lennon Featuring Andy Baum, Meena Cryle & Martin Spengler - Live at the Spinnerei Traun Lennon is very current! The song "Imagine" still confronts us after 50 years with its great visions. "Imagine all the people sharing all the world." The musician and visionary was not only responsible for triggering massive feelings of happiness through his music, but he was also a passionate pacifist and feminist. Playing and experiencing the music of The Beatles and John Lennon gives strength and joy of life. Despite everything! And these sparks fly like fireworks from the stage to the audience and back. Since 2020, the band has gathered influential artists around itself to celebrate these wonderful and timeless songs, which have become important companions and loyal friends for many people. This time, Austria's pop legend Andy Baum, legendary blues singer Meena Cryle, and the great Martin Spengler, known from his band "Martin Spengler und die foischn Wiener*innen," will be part of the show. Press quote: "Rich in colors and facets, creative and personal, with a lot of emotion from the moment - this is how the well-rehearsed Austrian formation, with rounded vocal harmonies, virtuosic solos, and infectious joy of playing, makes Lennon's creative universe shine. It resonates in the hearts of the listeners. Lennon lives!!!" - Allgäuer Zeitung Cast: Andy Baum - Vocals, Guitar Meena Cryle - Vocals Martin Spengler - Vocals, Guitar Ramona Kasheer - Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Drums Alex Gantz - Electric Guitar Martin Payr - Keyboards, Vocals Jürgen Mitterlehner - Saxophone, Percussion, Vocals Arnulf Lindner - Vocals, Bass, Cello Robin Gillard - Vocals, Drums, Bandleader
