What's it about?
The big forest is full of dangers. It's good to have a strong friend. And if you don't have one, you just make one up. The little mouse is out in the forest and everyone seems to mean well to her. The fox invites her to jelly, the owl invites her for tea, and the snake to the snake-mouse festival. But the mouse always has an appointment: with her friend, the terrible Gruffalo. She only imagined him... but then he suddenly appears in real life, and his favorite delicacy, he says, is buttered bread with a little mouse. Can the mouse use her wit, charm, and inventiveness to come out on top?
