Serenades: Atalante Quartet & Andrej Serkov – Five Tango Sensations

What's it about?

The Atalante Quartet and Ukrainian bandoneon player Andrej Serkov embark on an excursion into the tango universe of Astor Piazzolla. Original works by the Argentinian master will be performed, as well as pieces specially arranged for this ensemble featuring the bandoneon, which was Piazzolla's favourite instrument. A tango experience, without dance, but in the spirit of the composer: "For me, tango was always more for the ear than for the feet."
