chuffDRONE
What's it about?
ChuffDRONE are among the distinctive voices of the Austrian jazz scene. With great intensity, the four musicians weave composition and improvisation into a pulsating, energetic sound. Between poetic openness, rhythmic precision, and spontaneous dynamics, they create music at the pulse of the present. ChuffDRONE brings together four musical personalities, each with an independent approach to jazz. Four alert team players who engage with full intensity. As intelligent as they are intuitive, they create well-measured outlets for controlled outbursts in their compositions, rhythmize ecstasy, and orchestrate silence. ChuffDRONE combines energy and poetry, exuberance and perfection. Relying on the power of the collective, the boundaries between composed and improvised music fade, and the different instruments merge into a pulsating, energetically charged sound complex that is hard to resist.
