What's it about?

A pleasurable autumn weekend invites visitors to explore, hike, and linger. The hike starts between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the information station at the town hall square. For an entry fee of 4 euros, participants can enjoy an atmospheric walk through the autumnal vineyard meadows along the Manhartsberg. In the vineyards, wind chimes and creative bird scarers can be admired. The route is approximately 8 kilometers long but can also be shortened to about 5.5 kilometers — ideal for families or connoisseurs. Along the way, there is not only the opportunity to taste ripe grapes directly from the vine but also several rest stations offering grape juice, wine, Sturm (young wine), Staubige (a type of wine), and young wine for refreshment. For the little guests, an exciting nature puzzle rally provides variety and discovery fun. Back at the town hall square, visitors can enjoy delicious warm dishes and regional delicacies at the Genussmarkt (gourmet market). Local restaurants and surrounding heurigen (wine taverns) also invite visitors to enjoy and linger throughout the weekend with a diverse culinary offer. On Saturday evening, live music creates a lively and cozy atmosphere — a weekend full of enjoyment, conviviality, and autumnal joie de vivre.
