The painter and sculptor Alfred Virant, a great quiet figure in Austrian art, passed away in August 2025. From the rich estate of the tirelessly working artist until the end, small-format works are presented that reflect his view of nature. As is typical for Virant, one encounters a variety of materials and techniques, all with a consistently poetic tone. Location: Vinothek Stift Klosterneuburg Date: October 15, 2026, to January 7, 2027 Mon - Fri: 10 am to 6 pm Sat: 10 am to 5 pm Sundays and public holidays closed.
