Guided Tasting Walk with the Lössguide to Steinhorn Gin

What's it about?

The guided tasting walk with the Lössguide, during which you will learn exciting and interesting facts about wine, Wagram, loess, Pleyel, mammoths, earth cellars, and the village of Ruppersthal among other topics, leads today into the well-known vineyards Mordthal and Steinberg, into the wine cellar alley Schmiedgasse, past the Pleyel Museum and church. Further on into the most beautiful wine cellar in the area where spirits are tasted and a small welcome gift awaits guests. The tour continues to a local winemaker, where Ruppersthal quality wines are sampled and commented on by the winemaker. As the highlight of the day, you will visit the Steiner Bros. distillery. Steinhorn Gin has been the Falstaff winner in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024, and 2025. The Steinhorn Fee/Absinthe is also a Falstaff winner. The Steiner brothers will tell you the incredible story of Steinhorn Gin, including its rapid rise nationally and internationally. A guided tour of the operation and an extensive tasting are of course included. Cost: €30 per person.
