Johannes Silberschneider

What's it about?

An evening full of memories, music, and surprises! The celebrated actor Johannes Silberschneider, together with his musical friends Georg Laube and Miloš Milojević, invites to an event of smiles, reflection, and laughter. After acclaimed performances at Kunsthaus Weiz, Arkadenkultur Salzburg, Minoriten Graz, and the Kleine Theater Salzburg, the successful program is now coming to Wachau in real time. Johannes Silberschneider narrates, in a refreshingly self-ironic manner and at times dizzyingly fast speech, about his own life and the roles he played within it. He talks about his childhood and school days in Styria, the legendary Reinhardt Seminar, his journey to the Oscar ceremony — from the Ö3 Hit Parade to how he went from singer of the band 'Johnny Silver & his Clappers' to a celebrated actor. And what does Penélope Cruz have to do with all this? Find out for yourself! Johannes Silberschneider | Narration Georg Laube | Guitar, vocals Miloš Milojević | Clarinet
