Where does the apple in the wine actually come from? Why does a wine feel creamy, juicy, or angular? And what does all this have to do with our limbic system? In this engaging and interactive workshop, Nicole Lagler will take you into the fascinating world of wine sensory analysis. Through playful exercises and various tools, you will train your sense of smell and taste memory — in an easy-to-understand, practical way, with many surprising Aha moments. The training is ideal for beginners and anyone who wants to sharpen their perception and become more confident in tasting. Afterwards, we will taste selected wines together. You will not only get to know the wines better but also receive concrete tips and tricks to impress at your next tasting. Includes wines, water, Wachau Laberl (traditional bread rolls), and handouts for home. Every Monday during Spitzer Weinherbst 2026, 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM.
