3:00 PM: Abbey tour, meeting point visitor foyer 4:00 PM: Introductory talk, White Hall 6:00 PM: Library, concert begins The final weekend of this year's festival begins with Arvo Pärt's greeting of peace "Da pacem domine" as an atmospheric introduction to Mozart's A major Violin Concerto with Vahid Khadem-Missagh as soloist. Following in the footsteps of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's "Italian Journey", Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy embarked on an educational trip. Inspired by the diverse impressions, he conceived his famous 4th Symphony - the "Italian", which will be performed as a brilliant festival finale.
