What's it about?
The hidden way of life of owls – Many myths and legends surround these flying hunters of the night. The howling calls of owls have something ghostly about them and have given these birds an ominous reputation. Yet there is much exciting information to share about the tawny owls, long-eared owls, and eagle owls that breed here. On this night hike led by National Park Ranger Robert Müllner, we want to listen to the eerily beautiful night concert of the tawny owl and learn what these calls mean. Let yourself be fascinated by the impressive way of life of these hidden owls. We will get to the bottom of the myths and, with a bit of luck, even hear the "buhoo" of a male eagle owl, which can carry up to a kilometer! Meeting point: Nationalparkhaus Duration: approx. 4 hours. Costs: Adults € 17,- Children € 9.50 Families € 36,- Registration until 3:00 PM on the day before.
