In 2026, the Bayreuth Festival Theatre celebrates its 150th anniversary. The only work custom-made for Bayreuth is "Parsifal", which premiered in July 1882. As the second Bayreuth guest performance after 2024, Pablo Heras-Casado conducts excerpts from the stage consecration festival play with Austrian Kammersänger Andreas Schager in the title role.
