When philharmonic musicians from Vienna and Berlin meet, sparks fly! The seven world-class musicians, performing as Philharmonix, play what is otherwise never on the concert program of their orchestras. In brilliant new arrangements, they extract new, original sides from hits across numerous genres. The sound aesthetics and traditions of their orchestras always shape the arrangements. The Viennese Thilo Fechner (viola), Daniel Ottensamer (clarinet), and Ödön Rácz (double bass), as well as the Berliners Stephan Koncz (violoncello) and Noah Bendix-Balgley (violin), always find the right tone with Christoph Traxler (piano) and arrangement genius Sebastian Gürtler (violin). The fact that Philharmonix have now recorded four albums speaks for itself. Line-up Ensemble Philharmonix Program Maurice Ravel / Stephan Koncz "La Valse" Sebastian Gürtler "Dichtungspolka" Stephan Koncz "Titanic" Sebastian Gürtler "Noriet saule vakarā" as well as other compositions
