What's it about?

On May 2nd, modern poetry and stage art return to Tulln. Because the Poetry Slam Donaudichten Tulln is back at the Kunstwerkstatt! In this modern competition, poets compete against each other with self-written texts to win the favor of the audience, because the audience is the jury. Poetry Slam combines modern poetry with captivating performance. Let yourselves be carried away to smile, to pause, or to rave with enthusiasm. No matter if it's poetry, prose or freestyle, every type of text is welcome. Participants have 5 minutes. No frills, no props – only the power of words counts here. Before the slam (from 4:30 PM), a free writing workshop will take place for all interested parties in the Kunstwerkstatt. Registrations will be accepted until the day before at poetryslammd@gmail.com.
