What's it about?

Like a houseplant, the audience of Gesangskapelle Hermann is cultivated, but also quite idiosyncratic, needs little light, but all the more to drink. And as soon as you lose sight of it, it wilts: That's why you have to be prepared for everything, fertilize sufficiently, sometimes prune, now and then talk to it – and, of course, sing to it. Their new program, titled 'Pflanzen' (Plants), sprouts blossoms and nonsense, is a childish poking around in the humus of the present, a collection of new favorite songs, and offers a kind of exit scenario from the madness of the world into a self-built raised bed. With their usual musical anarchism, somewhere between a cappella and stadium rock, Gesangskapelle Hermann once again manages to whisk their audience away into a humorous and entertaining evening where no eye remains dry.
