Gerhard Aflenzer Broadway Big Band: Frank Sinatra & Friends
What's it about?
Gerhard Aflenzer Broadway Big Band Frank Sinatra & Friends featuring Otto Jaus - Werner Auer "He is the Mercedes among men," described Marlene Dietrich of Frank Sinatra. He is the Rolls Royce among entertainers, so the legendary diva's remark could be extended. Unforgotten and still unmatched, he lives on through his countless worldwide hits. Out of enthusiasm for the music of the so-called Rat Pack, the concert program of the Gerhard Aflenzer Broadway Big Band was created. For all friends and fans of Old Blue Eyes, Dino, and Sammy, the program features the best and most well-known titles of these great entertainers. All those songs associated with nights in New York and Las Vegas are sure to be included in this program. The vocalists will perform unforgettable hits that once made the Rat Pack irresistible to women. Enjoy songs like "That’s Life," "Mr. Bojangles," "New York, New York," or "Something Stupid." Werner Auer has been performing with the band since its founding in 1995 at major concerts. As a singer, entertainer, musical actor, director, host, and director of the Felsenbühne Staatz, he has made a name for himself in the Lower Austrian music and cultural scene. The special guest for this concert is OTTO JAUS. The bandleader has succeeded in bringing this great artist to the concert. With "Pizzera & Jaus," he regularly produces big hits and sells out halls. He began his vocal training in 1992 with the Vienna Boys' Choir. Afterwards, he studied at the Vienna Conservatory as a tenor. Two years later, Jaus received a semester scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music in London through the WestLB Summer Academy in Krickenbeck, under the direction of Mary Hammond and Karen Rabinowitz. He has performed in productions such as "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "The Threepenny Opera." A must-attend event for every "Rat Pack" fan. "FROM THE EAST TO THE WEST, YOUR SWINGING GUEST".
