What's it about?
20 years of Camo & Krooked – 2027 marks their journey together, celebrated by Reinhard Rietsch and Markus Wagner. Since 2007, they have been influential acts in the international drum & bass scene and have made the Austrian sound well known beyond the country's borders. Milestones include their albums "Above & Beyond," "Cross The Line," "Zeitgeist," and "Mosaik," with which they have continuously developed their own sound. They were recognized internationally early on and established themselves as a fixture at major festivals and clubs in the scene. What distinguishes Camo & Krooked is primarily their unique approach to music. Drum & bass is the foundation, but never the limit: disco, funk, soul, house, electro, and a lot of experimentation have been part of their musical toolkit for years. Especially albums like Zeitgeist and Mosaik show how consistently the duo pushes their sound forward while remaining true to themselves. They have also developed their own signature in live performances. From elaborate live hybrids to international headliner shows, their journey over the past two decades has taken them to stages around the world. In 2027, this story returns to Austria: the 20 Years Anniversary Open Air Tour combines the key chapters from two decades with a look to the future. This also aligns with the duo's recent direction, exemplified by their collaboration with the Red Bull Symphonic project, showcasing another extraordinary side of Camo & Krooked. They also performed as FM4 Stage headliners at the Donauinselfest. Twenty years of Camo & Krooked is not only a celebration but also a piece of Austrian drum & bass history – and in 2027, it will be celebrated together with the audience.
