Nepal und Tibet - ein Reiseabenteuer

What's it about?

This travel report is about the personal impressions of the speakers. They talk about sights, landscapes, ways of life, religion and ceremonies, as well as the effects of altitude sickness. Duration: 2 hours (45 minutes about Nepal / 40 minutes about Tibet). The lecture is free, and a donation box will be available (for aid projects in Nepal). The speakers, Jolantha and Wolfgang Grascher, about themselves: Since reading the book 'Seven Years in Tibet' by Heinrich Harrer in my youth, Tibet has not left my mind. And although we, as former dancers of the Vienna State Opera Ballet, have traveled a lot around the world, this dream remained. Since the possible travel time is in spring and autumn, we could only fulfill it after my retirement in September 2025. Before that, I worked at the MUK (Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna) with young people and students in various areas of dance.
