After the atmospheric open-air kick-off with Duo Ruut last year, the Pitten Art and Culture Circle returns to Thernberg in late summer – bringing another exciting duo to the stage with Bryan Benner & Christoph Zimper. The two musicians have been connected for almost ten years by a close friendship and a passion for songwriting. It all began with "Giniginamar", an album that was created spontaneously and with great ease during a shared holiday in Fuerteventura. At that time, two voices and personalities met, which still stand for themselves today. Both musicians have repeatedly developed collaborative projects and exciting concert formats in recent years. In Thernberg, they will present their new program for the first time with songs by Bryan Benner and Christoph Zimper: poetic, humorous, also profound and in the best sense a "wild musical melange" of Wienerlied influences, dialect, subtlety and unmistakable timbres. The two accompany each other on guitar, piano, clarinet and shakuhachi. The audience can expect an evening that touches, makes them smile and resonates for a long time. Another duo that will accompany us through the evening: culinary delights from René Zimmermann (waldjungfrau.com) with regional, seasonal products and freshly tapped beer from Wolfsbräu Thernberg. About René Zimmermann: His cuisine is inspired by travels around the world and at the same time firmly rooted in the taste of his childhood in Waldviertel. He cooks with a focus on fresh, local, organic and seasonal products. Between old apple trees, floor-to-ceiling shelves full of jars with fermented fruit and vegetables and a garden full of experiments, René Zimmermann rethinks gastronomy.
