What's it about?

Workshop content: In this workshop, an understanding of the connection between egg tempera and oil in classical painting will be conveyed, an awareness of light and shadow will be developed, the effect of a reduced color palette will be experienced, and work will be done on implementing sculptural plasticity in painting. We work with a reduced palette (white, black, ochre) according to the methods of the Old Masters and combine the fresh, matte brilliance with the depth and luminosity of oil. The goal is the representation of sculptural forms with clear lighting and plastic expression.
