On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the death of the legendary actor, cabaret artist and author Helmut Qualtinger, a unique trio is forming on the Semmering to provide insights into the astonishing "Qualtiversum". It is undisputed that Qualtinger, together with Carl Merz, entered Austrian cultural history with "Der Herr Karl" and the "Travnicek Dialogues". Many people are also still familiar with the fact that "Quasi" appeared in several important cinema and television films. However, the fact that he also wrote biting newspaper glosses, co-authored further plays with Carl Merz, and created dark-humoured poems with André Heller, among other things, has almost been forgotten. The two actors Gregor Seberg and Robert Kolar and the musician Tommy Hojsa perform numerous treasures from Qualtinger's pen and repertoire, as well as selected works by his contemporaries, thus breathing new life into the biting wit of the Qualtinger cosmos at 1,000 metres above sea level.
