Fairytale Middle Ages! It's finally time again: the MEDIEVAL and KNIGHTS' FESTIVAL on and around the REICHENAU CASTLE RUINS in Mühlkreis is taking place again! Saturday, August 8, 11:00 - 23:00 Sunday, August 9, 10:00 - 18:00 www.burg-reichenau.com For the 6th time, bagpipes will sound in and around the Reichenau Castle Ruins in Mühlkreis, and drums will make the air tremble. Swords clash, shields crash, and knights in their shining armor groan as they fight for the favor of noble ladies and gentlemen. Fools, horses, jugglers, acrobats, and other vagrants show their skills and let visitors immerse themselves in a bygone era. Loudly, over 30 merchants and craftsmen from near and far offer their goods in their tents at the medieval market and encourage trying and participating, while the Medicus in the moats tell exciting stories. The meat sizzles on the grill, the pans hiss, and young and old enjoy their drinks from beautiful handmade clay mugs. On Saturday evening, a spectacular fire show also awaits you.
