The Magic Flute in the Tempel der Nacht

ATTENTION! Access to this event is via the Lion Gate (Wiener Neustädter Straße 6, 2525 Günselsdorf)! Guided tour tickets are not valid for the event. Admission open from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM! No admission possible after 6:15 PM! A special performance of The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart takes place in the mysterious grotto complex of the Tempel der Nacht. Accompanied by Emanuel Schikaneder, the librettist of the opera, the audience will be introduced to the genesis and hidden mysteries of this masterpiece. An international ensemble interprets the most famous arias of the opera, from the Queen of the Night to Tamino and Pamina. Music, history, and location merge into an extraordinary opera experience. Please consider the 10-minute walk from the park entrance to the Tempel der Nacht; we recommend comfortable footwear. Performance begins: 6:30 PM (duration including intermission approximately 3 hours) Bad weather plan: As the event takes place outdoors, in case of bad weather the performance will be moved to our ballroom in the castle. There are 3 ticket categories to choose from: Standard seats, our Front of Stage seats for concertgoers who want to be particularly close to our excellent artists, and our stone benches between the columns, which are equipped with seat cushions.
