Tini Kainrath, Simone Kopmajer, Meena Cryle - Vokale Kernschmelze
What's it about?
A furious mix of Gospel Soul, Country, and Jazz occurs when three vocal icons come together. A unique core fusion followed by a core meltdown. The Viennese full-blooded singer Tini Kainrath, the emotionally charged jazz singer Simone Kopmajer, and blues & roots lady Meena Cryle ignite a continuous fireworks display on stage, spanning Gospel to Soul, Country, and Jazz. The vocals are supported musically by multi-instrumentalist Chris Fillmore and 'music professor' Geri Schuller. As successful as the solo careers of these three vocal icons are, their joint performance in a trio is short and refreshingly new. Nothing was planned long in advance, nothing was coordinated, everything was spontaneous and heartwarming. After the first sessions together, it was clear: something is brewing here that belongs together. Whether in solo performances — Tiny's 'A Natural Woman', Meena's 'Cold Blooded Woman', Simone's 'Have You Ever Seen The Rain', or in the trio — 'A Natural Woman' or 'You’ve Got A Friend', the first performances of the three left no one indifferent. Neither the audience nor the three ladies. It was clear: this will continue.
