Norbert Schneider & Band - Werkschau
What's it about?
With his new program "Werkschau" (retrospective), Norbert Schneider presents previews of his upcoming album and a fine selection from his previous repertoire. Songs like "Feia am Dachl" address current developments. "Weit sois’d nau fliegen" (It should now fly far) is in the typical Schneider singer-songwriter tradition. As always, the audience can expect an evening full of emotions – from heartfelt laughter to tears, the range of feelings evoked by Norbert's lyrics. His extraordinary guitar playing and the high musical level of his band, which interacts with him, continually surprise. The three-time Amadeus Music Award winner is a master at translating complex themes such as faith, transience, and love into music and serving them with much Viennese charm. Live band: Norbert Schneider – vocals, guitar; Tini Kainrath or Lena Kuchling – vocals; Alexander Horstmann or Berni Höchtel – vocals; Max Tschida – keys, accordion; Georg Buxhofer – double bass, electric bass; Walter Sitz – drums, Cajón; Georg Schrattenholzer – trombone.
