YOUNG THEATER SIMMERING Das Begräbnis / 14-99 Years Audio walk performance / 55 minutes A funeral that gets out of control: At an idyllic cemetery, the mourning community of the deceased magnate Walter List gathers – but quickly, heir, honor, and emotions become mixed up. Even during the ceremony, the family quarrel escalates. In rhyme and with dark humor, "Das Begräbnis" tells of a funeral that turns into a fiasco – as a morbid continuation of the award-winning radio play "Die Hochzeit". The radio plays by Marc Carnal, "Das Begräbnis" and "Die Hochzeit," have each been awarded the Ö1 Audience Award for the "Best Radio Play of the Year." Marc Carnal is the head author, designer, and a rapid reporter for "Willkommen Österreich" with Stermann and Grissemann, and writes columns for FM4 or Die Tagespresse.
