What's it about?

The facts: The average age of our population is increasing. More than two-thirds of people live in households with 1–2 persons, and children often live farther away from their parents. Challenges in old age include dementia and loneliness. The goals: Developing joint solutions for social challenges. Community projects in our villages and municipalities include care and support, relief for relatives, and communal living arrangements with care and active social life. Existing actors such as parish communities, senior associations, social organizations, younger generations, relatives, and all people or businesses willing to participate (e.g., vacant spaces, volunteer work) are involved. As a platform for implementation, the association 'Lichtblick' was founded. Supported by the municipalities, it needs the backing of everyone.
