This is a Christmas concert of a special kind. Rudy Giovannini sings with his sensitive voice the most beautiful German Christmas carols, classical Italian Christmas melodies, as well as reflective titles. His a cappella singing performances are magnificent. Many well-known Christmas songs will be performed, such as "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen," "Leise rieselt der Schnee," "Der kleine Trommler," "Ave Verum," "Weihnacht in der Heimat," "Ave Maria No Morro," "Jingle Bells," and "White Christmas." New beautiful melodies from his current Christmas CD will also be heard. Highlights of the concert include the repeatedly requested Walzerlied from "Zarewitsch," the Prisoners' Chorus from the opera "Nabucco," and the "Ave Maria." Rudy Giovannini was trained in Italy by Maestro Arrigo Pola, who also studied singing with Luciano Pavarotti. Anyone who has experienced a live concert by Rudy Giovannini is impressed and enchanted. This artist impresses not only with his singing but also with his charming manner, humorous moderation, and his ability to involve the audience in the event.
