From August 14th to 24th, 2026, we bring Africa to Vienna! - With lively presentations of various countries and cultures, daily traditional dance performances, fashion shows by renowned designers, and … of course, MUSIC! On the Donauinsel, a colorful festival for the senses awaits you: The World Bazaar presents handicrafts, fair-trade products, and culinary specialties from all over Africa. In the Living Bazaar, you can watch artisans at work, immerse yourself in special exhibitions, and experience authentic life in various countries. The music program offers live concerts every evening by African and international Austrian artists - from traditional sounds and reggae to modern Afrobeat. During the day, numerous workshops invite participation: Experience drumming workshops, traditional and modern dances - from Amapiano to belly dancing to yoga - and much more. A special tent for children offers craft activities, storytelling, camel and pony rides, and musical activities. We focus our social commitment on young Africans in agriculture because we are convinced that this is the most effective and sustainable way to invest in Africa's development. The Vienna Africa Days promote tolerance, diversity, and intercultural dialogue. Learn about and support social and environmental projects in Africa at the stands of numerous NGOs. Celebrate the diversity of Africa with us - right in the heart of Vienna! Mondays: Free admission for all children up to 12 years: Free admission
