What's it about?
Leading Classical Concert Vienna Welcome to the House of Strauss – in the historic Strauss Hall from 1837, where all four members of the Strauss dynasty once performed. The House of Strauss has been recommended twice by the New York Times in the series "36 Hours in Vienna" and described by a major Austrian daily newspaper as "a small New Year's concert every day." Your evening begins with a sparkling wine reception and a visit to the House of Strauss Museum. There, before the concert, you will immerse yourself in the world of the Strauss dynasty – in their history, their music, and the era when Vienna became the world capital of the waltz. Afterwards, the evening is dedicated to music: a live orchestra and a soprano interpret works by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, and Strauss in the special ambiance of the historic hall. A cinematic narration accompanies the evening, depicting the rise of the Strauss dynasty; subtle lighting design enhances the atmosphere of the room in a mood-setting way. This is not an ordinary tourist program, but a genuine Viennese concert experience at a place that is itself part of this history. More than just a concert – an evening full of Vienna, music, and history. Times: from 7:00 PM Museum, from 7:30 PM Sparkling wine reception, 8:30 PM concert start.
