What's it about?
Who says A must also say B... It started on September 7, 2025, with "A" (Adio Ahoi, Ahnung, Air, Am Sund, Annaberg must become Chicago again, Ananas Song) and already foreshadowed a bit of "B" (Condolences for Mizzi) - now the CC JOP autumn season 26 continues consistently and again roams through Cechian composition decades since the 1980s. Under the sign of "B," the audience can expect among others Bausatz #1, Bestens bedient, Blaazmusik, Black Risotto, Bawdy Lyrics, Bluessuite, Bomp, Brideside, Bugs, and Boritz - and much more. Changes and line deviations are explicitly likely and stem from the nonconformist compulsive disorder of the bandleader and composer. Basta - no confession before the sin. Come in large numbers, you will be well served. Robert Schröck, Ilse Riedler, Manfred Balasch, Florian Fennes - woodwind instruments, Holger Bleck - bass clarinet, Markus Pechmann, Walter Fend - trumpet, flugelhorn, Karel Eriksson - trombone, Simon Teurezbacher - tuba, Valentina Cinquini - concert harp, Andi Erd - guitar, Christoph Cech and his orchestra move through colorful musical landscapes without stylistic limitations. Exciting dramatic moments, solo passages, and great tension arcs meet calm, intense, and experimental passages. The orchestra effortlessly combines complex compositions with great joy of playing and shapes the diversity into a clear, lively musical narrative. An evening of concert between structure, freedom, and surprising energy.
