The gentlemen Lechner, Trabitsch, and Rosmanith indulge in audible fun as Los Gringos and move with great joy through popular, (supposedly) "low" song material. Harry Belafonte can appear right next to Deep Purple — the musical horizons are certainly broader than one might initially think. The "hit parade" is created anew each time; the selection and order of the pieces develop during the concert, sometimes also on audience call. The focus is less on the "what" and more on the "how": virtuosic, surprising, with lots of improvisation and a palpable joy in playing together. Well-known songs here definitely sound different from the usual — only the most beautiful song in the world remains untouchable for Los Gringos. Otto Lechner - accordion, vocals; Klaus Trabitsch - guitar, vocals; Peter Rosmanith - percussion.
