What's it about?

With 'moloch', woschdog – described by Falter as 'widely unknown but great band' – has embarked on a journey through all patriarchal-hegemonial illusions after their first album 'foin'. The whole is wrapped in an exciting mix of downtempo, jazz, electronics, blues, and pop. Ingrid Lang's poetic use of the Viennese language and her hauntingly beautiful singing combine with the layered sound of Lukas Lauermanns' cello, Karl Stirner's liberated zither, Sebastian Seidl's warm Rhodes and synth textures, and Johannes Wakolbinger's fine, precise drumming to create an atmospheric listening experience. Slow, layered, and uncompromising, woschdog has been exploring its own soundscapes within the local music scene since their debut album 'foin'. 'Portishead visiting the suburb.' (Falter) Ingrid Lang – vocals, Lukas Lauermann – cello, Karl Stirner – zither, Sebastian Seidl – keys, Johannes Wakolbinger – drums.
