The Starbugs
What's it about?
The Vienna-based ensemble The Starbugs combines country, Americana, blues, and rock’n’roll into a distinctive, warm, and energetic sound that balances intimacy and musical expansiveness. With two-part vocals, distinctive guitars, and characteristic saxophone lines, the band spans from original compositions to selected classics of the Americana tradition. For this special evening, high-profile guests will expand the sound spectrum: Ulli Winter (The Untouchables) on guitar, Claudia Fenzl (a defining voice of the Vienna Americana scene) on violin, and Thomas Haschberger (Krautfleisch, MCB) on accordion will add additional colorful accents. Bruno Geissmann - vocals, guitar, composition; Sonja Oberhammer - vocals; Thomas Mosandl - guitar; Walter Oberhammer - bass; Gerhard Walter - saxophone; Predrag Mitrović - drums.
