What's it about?
Roadtrip To Outta Space Mondo Drag: File under Heavy Psych, oldschool Prog & Proto-Metal, citing old heroes like Pentagram, Pink Floyd, Uriah Heep and Hawkwind and playing in a league with Witchcraft, Astra, Naam or Dead Meadow, including maximum vintage sound. Another plus: the cool, spacey vocals with a British touch (although the band is based in California) and plenty of reverb. Early Moods mix classic proto-metal from the early 70s, grunge riffs from the 90s and timeless songwriting with explosive youthful energy. The quartet from the greater Los Angeles area appeared in 2022 with a sound that combined dark underground street doom with slick heavy metal melodies on their self-titled debut album "Riding Easy". Fangus are a Stoner/Metal band from Montreal.
