What's it about?
Welcome to Peterskirche, one of Vienna's most beautiful Baroque churches, built between 1701 and 1733 according to plans by Lukas von Hildebrand. On this site, in the 4th century, the first church of our city stood within the Roman camp Vindobona (Vienna). Since then, church services have been held here. Liturgy, pastoral care, and music make Peterskirche a spiritual focal point for locals and visitors alike. The Classic Ensemble Vienna has also found its home here. Comprising internationally renowned musicians who have performed successfully in Austria, Mexico, the USA, Sweden, Germany, and other countries, they enchant audiences with beautiful interpretations of Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Vivaldi, and more, attracting both Viennese and international audiences.
