Galerie Walker at Ebenau Castle in RosentalThe small Renaissance Ebenau Castle (built in the 16th century by the Barons of Dietrichstein) in Weizelsdorf has been privately owned by Galerie Walker since 1996 and is also a very special place for contemporary art. Picturesquely situated and surrounded by a constantly changing sculpture garden, exhibitions featuring works by a wide variety of regional and international artists such as C. L. Attersee, Johann Feilacher, Bruno Gironcoli, Gustav Janus, Gudrun Kampl, Kiki Kogelnik, Peter Krawagna, Hiromi Masuda, Valentin Oman, Meina Schellander, Reimo Wukounig (to name just a few…) are on display there during the summer months. A place of encounter with art, culture, and history where the old castle walls stand in wonderful contrast to the modern artworks.
